As a student, Leah worked in Vrooman Cafeteria, volunteered with the Office of Disability Concerns, and was a member of the American Marketing Association.  Following a career as a federal probation officer for the Northern District of Illinois, Leah assisted in the educating of young minds as a substitute teacher for the Westchester School District. She has now transitioned to office manager at Sullivan and Suchy, DDS. 
 
As a yearly ambassador with Birds Give Back, Leah is always stating her passion as a proud Redbird. She has volunteered for over 25 years with the Alumni Association at various events and programs, with the majority in the Chicagoland area where she served as chair of the Chicago Suburban Alumni Network for seven years. She is also a Redbird football season ticket holder and attends as many games as possible. Leah is especially proud to be a legacy family member. Her son, Aidan '19, M.S. '21, is a two-time alum with degrees in agriculture business.

She is the past president of the Alumni Association board of directors, the board development committee chair, a member of the executive and RED committees, and the Foundation Board liaison.
